2008 River Swim & Triathlon-MaitlandFrom: 11/10/2008 to: 12/10/2008 To be held on the same weekend as for the past 15 years (11-12 October 2008) this great regional race is the seasons "first off the rack" for many NSW's triathletes and has been a popular warm up for some Long Course races held up north. The event attracts everyone from World Champs to first timers. In 2008 we will continue our two distances including a 1km or 1.5km Swim, 30km or 55km Ride, 8km or 12km run. A perfect warm up for some longer races this year.
We will also be adding a Saturday afternoon swim and post tri fun run, so now the whole family has a reason to come. Location: Race compound, start and finish to be at Morpeth, NSW. |

The Eyeline 1000 Ocean Swim is the perfect opportunity for swimmers of all ages 7-70+years to get in and be a part of the Noosa Multi Sport Festival. 2008/09 Honeysuckle Twilight AquathlonFrom: 10/11/2008 to: 28/03/2009 This exciting new race will be held on a Wednesday night (except Race 6) at the Boardwalk of Honeysuckle on Newcastle Harbour. The event dates are Wednesday 22 Oct, 12 Nov, 10 Dec, 21 Jan, 18 Feb and Saturday 28 March. All races will be 2.5km run then 1km swim and then another 2.5km run.

2008 Newcastle Olympic TriathlonFrom: 22/11/2008 to: 23/11/2008 This Olympic Distance Triathlon is part of the Hunter Triathlon Series and will be held on 23 November 2008 from the Honeysuckle area of Newcastle in NSW. If you are looking to get some practice in for the World Championships in 2009, then our race will be perfect. Please note this event is no longer part of the National Triathlon Series and does not gain you points towards selection for the Australian Team Location: Newcastle NSW, This races will be held in Newcastle on the weekend of Saturday 22 November and Sunday 23 November 2008. The triathlon course is arguably one of the most scenic and exciting city based triathlon courses in Australia and will take in the Newcastle Harbour, Foreshore, Honeysuckle Precinct , Beaches and King Edward Park. The new swim event will mean everyone can have a go and make a weekend of the event. |
2008 Bondi to Bronte SwimFrom: 7/12/2008 to: 7/12/2008 The Bondi to Bronte Ocean Swim has become one of the classics on the Sydney Ocean Swim calendar. The swim runs between the first two Surf Life Saving clubs in the world. Starting and finishing at two different beaches is one of the unique aspects of this journey. It gives the competitors a real sense of achievement. Location: The course starts in front of Bondi Surf Club, runs out from Bondi, around McKenzies point and down the coast into Bronte Beach, a distance of 2.2 - 2.5km (depending on the positioning of the buoy off McKenzies point). |
